Paper Mountain is a volunteer run ARI dedicated to supporting a broad span of contemporary art projects. Working with Paper Mountain involves working with artists and audiences to nurture experimentation, to challenge artists’ practices, and to encourage collaboration and the sharing of skills & resources.

Please note: all roles at Paper Mountain are voluntary.

Communications Manager

The Communications Manager tells the world about Paper Mountain through clever and creative ways and is a fierce leader for our Communications team. The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse with PR, social media, design, and marketing principles, technology, and trends.

Studio Manager

The Studio Manager is the go-to support person for our studio artists and prospective studio artists, and manages accounts. The Studio Manager also plays an active role in cultivating a creative and collaborative culture at Paper Mountain.

Events Photographer

If you hold an event and don’t take pictures – did it even happen? Event Photographers will be the ones to capture the best moments at Paper Mountain, from exhibition openings, performances, and more.

Gallery Attendant

Gallery Attendants are the face of Paper Mountain. Their main responsibility is to make all studio artists, common room members and visitors welcome. It is important they have knowledge of exhibitions and events coming up in the space and promote it to our visitors.
